🌀 Silk and Dust

This painting holds the contradiction I fell in love with—
the velvet shimmer of silk in a roadside stall,
and the red dust rising from a tuktuk’s path.

In Cambodia, life is simple and sacred.
You see temples and traffic, cows and gods,
all sharing the same space.
And somehow, it makes perfect sense.

I didn’t paint what I saw.
I painted what it felt like to be there—

or longing back,

wild colours, layered sounds,
and the heartbeat of something ancient beneath it all.

Medium:  Acrylic, soft and oil pastels 

Size:  60x60 cm (24x24 inches) 12 mm deep (1/2 inch deep) birch wood panel. 

Frame:  Need to be framed

Signature: back and also signed Certificate of Authenticity

Year: 2022

Finish: Spray fixative and cold wax

Shipping: In cardboard supported bubble wrap
